A small appealing shrub with needle like foliage and delicate yellow flowers in spring to early summer. New growth is tinged red providing a nice contrast of colour with flowers eventually converting to red cones. Makes an attractive patio plant. Evergreen.

This plant is dioecious: male and female flowers grow on different plants.

Stunnung yellow clumping stems form to create an ideal bamboo for screening. Can be trimmed like a hedge to maintain height. Thrives in part shade but perfers full sun to bring the stunning colour of yellow canes with green stripes out. Non invasive, slow to clump.

aka Fountain Bamboo

Fountain Bamboo is eaten by the giant panda more than any other variety. Thin foliage hangs around the canes giving the appearance of a fountain. Canes become deep purple to black. On hot summer days the foliage rolls up for protection then as the sun moves on the foliage opens up.

Non running Prefers morning sun, great for pots and indoor.

Stuning green to orange brown clumping stems and graceful dark green tufted fern like foliage. An airy, graceful plant suitable for pool-sides, patios, feature gardens. Prefers well-drained soil and is drought tolerant. Although it looks good next to water it does not like wet feet. Evergreen.

Slender stems covered with light, feathery, rich-green leaves give this unusual shrub a certain softness. In late spring tight panicles of little 'button' flowers in creamy-lime tones appear and last for long periods. Likes the sun, acid soil and protection from harsh frost.

A bold landscaping plant with cream and green arching variegated leaves up to 1m long that form a large clump. In spring a flower spike with dark pink bracts rises above the the foliage. Can be grown in sun or part shade. Drought tolerant once established. Best protected from frost. Evergreen. PVR.

This variety of Beschorneria is considered to more cold hardy than others. It will probably tolerate a light frost but will do better in a warm well drained spot with protection from harsh conditions. Suitable for a container and would certainly look quite dramatic in one.
